Guy, Margrave of Tuscany

Guido (or Wido ) ( † 928/929 ) was the eldest son of the Margrave Adalbert II of Tuscany ( Boniface house ) and Bertha of Lotharingia.

With the death of his father on († 10./19. September 915 ), he became Count and Duke of Lucca and margrave of Tuscany under the regency of his mother. He himself was in the following year (916 ) in captivity, spent the years up to probably 920 in Mantua in custody.

924/925, he became the second husband of Marozia, the " senatrix patricia et Romanorum ", the third wife, his half-brother Hugh I of Vienne, King of Italy married 932.

Guido and Marozia had a daughter Theodora (or Berta ), and probably one or two more children, of whom nothing further is known. Da Guido had no sons at his death, his brother Lambert became his successor.
