Habartov

Habartov ( German Habersbirk, also Haberspirk ) is a city in the Czech Republic. It is located eight kilometers north-west of Sokolov Egergraben and belongs to Okres Sokolov.

Geography

The city lies between Ore and Emperor forest in the Sokolov basin on the edge of a lignite mining area. In the east, south and west are large-scale open pit mines and mine dumps.

Neighboring towns are Anenská Ves in the north, Josefov and Radvanov in the northeast, Bukovany in the south, Lítov and Horni Částkov in the west and Hradek in the northwest.

History

The first documentary mention of the place was 1339th The then owner John Prisner followed, among others the families of Pergler Perglas and the pride of Simbsdorf who acquired it in 1573. 1668 were the Counts of Nostic and in 1719 Heinrich Mulz of Waldau new landlords. Between 1737 and 1790 Haberspirk was part of the rule Herten mountain, then formed the venue to the replacement of patrimonial regimes in 1850 again own property rule.

Community structure

The city consists of the districts Habartov Habartov ( Habersbirk ), Horni Částkov (Upper lap Reuth ) Kluc (wheel), Lítov ( Litt green) and Úžlabí ( colony Kahr ). Basic settlement units are Habertov, Horni Částkov, Kluc, Lítov, Na Rovince (bottom) and Úžlabí.

The municipality is divided into the Katastralbezirke Habartov, Horni Částkov and Lítov.
