HÃ¥kan Eriksson (ice hockey)

Lars Håkan Eriksson Elias (born 24 January 1956 in Skellefteå ) is a retired Swedish professional ice hockey player.

Career

Håkan Eriksson began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at Skellefteå AIK, for the first team, he was active from 1974 to 1978 - first in Division 1 and from the 1975/76 season in its successor league Elitserien. With Skellefteå he won in season 1977/78 for the first time in his career, the Swedish title. Following this success, the attacker moved within the Elitserien to Djurgårdens IF, with whom he also became Swedish Champion in the 1982/83 season. From 1985 to 1987, he joined the Lidingö Vikings in the third-tier Division 2 and Division 1 second-rate, before he ended his career at the age of 31 years.

Internationally

For Sweden, Eriksson took part in the World Cup 1979 and the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid and in Sarajevo in 1984. In all three tournaments he won with his team bronze medals.
