Hako GmbH

The Hako GmbH is a company for cleaning technology and ultra light commercial vehicles for these purposes, based in Bad Oldesloe. It was founded on 24 December 1948. The name is derived from Hans Koch & Son.

History

1924 Hans Koch invented in Mecklenburg the first small tillers of the world, the so-called di- Mo -Ha. After the founding of the company in 1948 in Pinneberg, the company began the assembly and mass production of tillers and single-axle milling system. 1956, the Company acquired a plot of land in Bad Oldesloe at the Lübeck street; in the seventies drew Hako in the industrial area on the Hamburg road, where today is located the headquarters. In addition, in Trappenkamp exists a technology center. In 1998, Hako, the shares of the German holding company of Vans. Hako since 2007 belongs to the Possehl Group.

Products

The Hako Group is one of the leading international manufacturers of cleaning machines, multifunctional implement carriers and transporters.

Structure

The corporate headquarters is located since 1954 in the Schleswig-Holstein Bad Oldesloe. In addition to it for their work and other production in Glindow, Trappenkamp and Walterhausen the Hako Group also manufactures in Poland and the USA.
