Hakone-Open-Air-Museum
The Hakone Open-Air Museum (Japanese彫刻の森 美術館, Chokoku no mori Bijutsukan, dt "Art Museum Forest of Sculptures " ) in Hakone was opened in 1969 and is the first open -air art museum in Japan.
On display are works by famous artists from around the world on a total area of over 70,000 m², partly in roofed buildings.
Park
The Sculpture Park Hakone was the first sculpture park in Japan. It was opened on an area of 70,000 m² in 1969. In the museum and in the sculpture park works by international artists were exhibited, such as:
