Hall Islands

The Hall Islands are an archipelago of two atolls in the central Pacific Ocean, located in the archipelago of the Caroline Islands.

Geography

The islands belong to Chuuk State of the Federated States of Micronesia. The islands lie to the north of the state in the northwestern region Oksoritod island, 82 km north of the central Chuuk Islands.

The Hall of Iceland include the atolls Nomwin in the southwest and Murilo in the Northeast, which are only nine miles apart. Main island is Nomwin Iceland in the same atoll, with a population of 711 ( 2000 census ).
