Hallucinogen (musician)

Simon Posford (born 1971 ) is a British Goa and psytrance musician who is solo success under the pseudonym Hallucinogen and was also involved in a variety of collaborations, including projects Shpongle and Mystery of The Yeti (both along with Raja Ram ) Celtic Cross ( with Martin " Youth" Glover ), Younger Brother ( with Benji Vaughan aka Prometheus ), Nomads of Dub.

Posford grew up in the southern English town of Cobham. At eight, he brought together with a musically talented friend to play the piano. At school hours was Posford keyboardist in several bands, where he mostly helped out in other instruments. In the late 1980s he became interested in electronic music. In 1993, Posford under the pseudonym " Gumbo " first appearance. Two years later he succeeded as a Hallucinogen with "Twisted" both the Goa scene formative, as well as commercially successful work.
