Hamburg Blue Angels

The Hamburg Blue Angels are the longest existing cheerleading squad ( squad ) of the football team Hamburg Blue Devils and at the same time were established in 1992 with the Blue Devils.

General

The Hamburg Blue Angels consist of women and men and are thus a co-ed or mixed team. In addition to the Cheeren for the Hamburg Blue Devils in the eVendi Arena and at away games, the Angels also occur in many other events.

However, the actual season of Angels takes place in the winter months when the championships of the independent sport Cheerleading take place.

Achievements

Among the successes of the Blue Angels:

  • German Champion 1996, 1999 and 2001
  • German Vice Champion 1994, 1995, 1997, 2002 and 2006
  • European champions in 1995, 1996 and 1997,
  • Vice European Champion 2006
  • NCA champion in 1998 and 1999
  • 4th place at the 2001 World Championships in Japan

Both Jasmin Wagner ( Blümchen ), and Bianca Hanif (Super Moonies ) and Gabriela Gottschalk ( only Super Moonies now Hot Banditoz ) launched pop careers as cheerleaders of the Blue and Grey Angels.
