Super Moonies

Super Moonies was a German pop group, which was founded in 1998 due to the success of the television broadcast of the anime series Sailor Moon. It was regarded as an attempt to use the German record industry, anime and anime music as a driving force for German productions.

The greatest successes of the group were the second and the third theme song for Sailor Moon series ( fighting Sailor Moon and power of the moon ) and gigs as the opening act of Jasmin Wagner ( Blümchen ) and Aaron Carter from winter 1998. Overall, the group has sold more than one million sound.

Band Members

Super Moonies consisted of singer Bianca Hanif (aka Kisu = jap kiss ) and the two dancers Gabriela Gottschalk (aka Sailor Moon ) and Jascha Anantapongse (aka Tuxedo Mask ).

Bianca Hanif and Gabriela Gottschalk had previously been cheerleaders at the Hamburg Blue Angels, one of the cheerleading squad of the Hamburg Blue Devils - as well as Jasmin Wagner ( Blümchen ).

Gabriela Gottschalk now works as a choreographer in Hamburg and is a member of the pop group Hot Banditoz. Jascha Anantapongse is a dentist in Seevetal.

Marketing

For advertising the fresh onset Anime Boom was sent used in Germany - as the extensive range of Japanese music industry, especially in Anime Soundtracks, under German fans had hardly known.
