Hammarö Municipality

Hammarö is a municipality (in Swedish kommun ) in the Swedish province of Värmland County, the historical province of Värmland. The main town of the municipality is Skoghall.

Geography

The municipality is located mostly on the 47 km ², the same island in Lake Vänern. The other part is located on the shore and the mouth of the Klarälven. The only neighboring municipality is the town Karlstad.
