2009 joined the current singer Trenton Woodley with the band, after his old band Eternal debut had dissolved. The constant from the date of occupation took a demo song called One: Hundred to which should be re-recorded later for the debut album by Hands Like Houses.

Name Change & Ground Dweller (2010-2012)

2010, they changed their name to Hands Like Houses. The name comes from the movie The Science of Sleep - How to dream in which the protagonist has a recurring dream in which his hands " as big as houses" are represented.

The band has traveled in the same year to Orlando, Florida in the Chango Studios with producer Cameron Mizell record their first EP. In 2011, the singles There's No Place For Animals and Lion Skin appeared, shortly after the band decided to make a full studio album from their EP.
