Hanneli Goslar

Hannah Elisabeth Pick- Goslar ( born November 12, 1928 in Berlin- Tiergarten) became known as the best friend of Anne Frank.

The father of Hannah Pick- Goslar was head of the press office in the Prussian Ministry of State. After the seizure of power by the National Socialists, the family emigrated to Amsterdam. There she met Anne Frank know and visited with her school. As " Anne, Hanne and Sanne " It made with Anne Frank and Sanne Ledermann from 1934 a close friend trio.

In June 1943, " Hanneli " as it is called by Anne in her diary, along with her father ( her mother had died in October 1942 in childbirth in the stillbirth of their third child ), her grandparents and her younger sister Gabi by the Gestapo arrested and deported to Bergen- Belsen. There she met her childhood friend in March 1945, shortly before her death again. Hannah was herded along with other early April 1945 in the lost train and survived after a 13-day odyssey with her sister (next to Hannah, the only one in the family who had survived ) by Germany finally the Holocaust.

Today Hannah Pick- Goslar lives in Jerusalem.
