The Hanning Elektro-Werke GmbH & Co. KG is a German company, which was of Robert Hanning for the production of electric drives in Oerlinghausen (today district of Lippe ) established in 1947. The company employs approximately 1,000 employees at its European locations. The headquarters is located in Oerlinghausen in the region of East Westphalia -Lippe, North Rhine -Westphalia. Other production sites are located in Eggesin ( Germany ), Vilnius (Lithuania ), Shenzhen (China) and Vadodara (India).
History
The company was (at that time in the circle Lemgo ) founded in 1947 by Robert Hanning as Elektrobau Hanning GmbH in Lipper series. 1977 & Co. KG was a name change rather than Hanning Elektro-Werke GmbH. Due to healthy growth in the production and storage areas at the site Oerlinghausen was significantly expanded in 1980. After the reunification of a production site in Eggesin Mecklenburg -Vorpommern was established.
