Hans Aschenborn
Hans Anton Aschenborn ( born 1 February 1888 in Kiel, † April 10, 1931 in Kiel ) was a German animal painter, illustrator and author. He designed predominantly African motifs.
Life
Aschenborn 1916 wrote the text to the song " Hela Safari ". 1913 marries Aschenborn Emma Bredow.
His son Dieter Aschenborn (* November 15, 1915, † 11 September 2002) and his grandson, Hans Ulrich ( Uli ) Aschenborn ( born September 6, 1947) are also very well known as a painter of animals in southern Africa. Works of art of them can be found in galleries, museums and public buildings Namibia.
