Hans Eisele (footballer)

Hans Eisele ( born August 7, 1940 † 20 October 2002) was a German football player.

In the season 1960/1961 the defender got his first appearances in the Oberliga Süd and became a regular player of VfB Stuttgart.

After the founding of the Bundesliga Eisele played from 1963 to 1971 for VfB. During this time he completed 196 games in which he hit three times into the goal. In addition there are 50 league games and scoring. 1971/72 he played in Austria, the DSV Alpine.

The Bundesliga scandal ended his career as a player in the Bundesliga. Because of his involvement in the manipulation of the game at Arminia Bielefeld (1:0) on 29 May 1971 pronounced against Eisele on 22 January 1972 a lock for life plus a fine of 15,000 marks. On 1 August 1973 he was pardoned by the DFB.

Hans Eisele died of a kidney disease.
