Hans Erasmus Aßmann

Hans Assmann Freiherr von Abschatz, actually Johann Erasmus Freiherr von Abschatz; Pseudonym Hans Erasmus Assmann ( born February 4, 1646 Breslau, † April 22, 1699 in Legnica ) was a German poet and translator of the Baroque. He is considered an important representative of the Second Silesian school.

Life

Hans Assmann of Abschatz came from the documents in 1294 since proven Silesian noble family of Abschatz.
