Hans-Georg Panczak

Hans -Georg Panczak ( born July 19, 1952 in Dusseldorf ) is a German actor and voice actor.

Life

Panczak grew up in Berlin. He got his first role in 1961 as a child actor in the ARD TV Game For reasons of security. In the same year he began his stage career at the Renaissance Theater, whereupon further engagements particularly followed on the Berlin stage. He took acting classes with Marlise Ludwig.

As an actor Panczak is mostly known from series like Derrick, The Old Man, Siska or The Country Doctor and as a prosecutor in Edel & Starck to a wide audience. In addition, he appeared in numerous episodes of the television series Tatort.

His best-known roles as voice actors were John Boy ( Richard Thomas ) in The Waltons or Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill ) in Star Wars. His voice is also in animated series (eg as Waylon Smithers in The Simpsons ) and in the computer animated film Final Fantasy: to hear The Spirits Within (voice of General Hein ) and the animated film Toy Story 2 as the little penguin " Wheezy ". As a voice actor he also lent Jackie Chan ( Protector, Miracles ), George Clooney ( Combat Academy ), Richard Dreyfuss (American Graffiti ), Sam Neill ( My Brilliant Career ), Kurt Russell ( Tower of Terror ), Dwight Schultz ( Howling Mad Murdock - The A-Team ) and Sam J. Jones as Flash Gordon his voice.

He also speaks commercials on television and votes in computer games.

Panczaks son Jan Makino has also worked as a voice actor.
