Hans Richter (actor)

Hans Richter ( born January 12, 1919 in Nowawes today to Potsdam; † October 5, 2008 in Heppenheim ( mountain road ) ), was a German actor.

Life

Hans Richter was the son of a singer and a concert master. Back in the early 1930s, at the age of 12 years, he played on the school bench away his first role - the Flying Hirsch, Gerhard Lamprecht's Emil and the Detectives. This role put him permanently as a performer of sly, cheeky little rascals and made him in the 1930s, the most important German child star. So he had before his majority appearances in over 50 films.

This was followed by roles in several movies that were filmed before and during the Second World War. In The man who Sherlock Holmes was with Heinz Rühmann he played a supporting role. Together with Riihmann he was also in 1944 for Feuerzangenbowle as a student roses in front of the camera.

After graduating from the Menzel -Realschule in Nowawes 1943 studied art history judges and took acting classes with Albert Florath, but was drafted into military service in 1944 and was taken prisoner.

After the war, he designed cabaret in Munich, but then settled in Hamburg, where he lived until 1960. In artistes blood he received in 1949 as a clown exceptionally a major role. Richter played otherwise in numerous home movies like Black Forest Girl (1950 ), Green is the Heath (1951 ) or In Munich stands a Hofbräuhaus ( 1952). Twice, in Father's Day ( 1955) and Hurrah - The company has a child (1955 ) he introduced himself directing. In the remake of the Feuerzangenbowle (1970 ), he played again, this time as Dr. Brett.

From the mid- 1950s, the theater turned to increasingly judge, where he particularly from 1958 to 1960 acted in leading roles at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus. In 1960 he became a member of the ensemble of the Municipal Theatre of Frankfurt am Main.

Hans Richter founded the festival in Heppenheim, which henceforth he served as his own theater company in 1974. He was married since 1945 to the publisher and author Dr. Ingeborg Bieber ( born 1921 ) and had two sons, Hans Joachim ( b. 1946 ) and Thomas ( b. 1947 ). Son Thomas Richter has taken over the management of the Festival of him in 1992.
