The Man Who Was Sherlock Holmes

The man who was Sherlock Holmes is a comedic thriller by Austrian director Karl Hartl from the year 1937. The premiere was on 15 July 1937 in Berlin at the Ufa - Palast am Zoo.

Action

The unsuccessful Detectives Flynn and McPherson dress up as Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson to finally be charged with money -making cases. They keep the night train to Brussels on the open road and are actually held account of their design for the famous detective and his partner.
