Harry Hardt

Harry Hardt, born Hermann Karl Viktor Klimbacher Edler (August 4, * 1899 in Pola, now Pula, Croatia, † 14 November 1980 in Vienna) was an Austrian perception of Empire actor.

Life

The officer's son studied art history and trained as an officer cadet at the Military Academy. After the First World War he held a military occupation makes little sense and decided to become an actor.

After acting classes in Graz and Berlin in 1919 he gave his debut at the Theatre of Olomouc. From 1920 he played at the Trianon Theatre in Berlin. In the same year he first appeared on the silent movie and soon became a supporting actor frequently used. He initially embodied gallant young lover, later distinguished gentlemen of high society. Overall Hardt starred in about 180 films, plus numerous television productions. In the series Royal Bavarian district court, he has appeared often as Count of Haunsperg in appearance. Most recently, he intensified his work in the theater.
