Hans Stiebner

Hans Friedrich Wilhelm Georg Stiebner ( born November 19, 1898 in Vetschau / Spreewald, † March 27, 1958 in Baden -Baden ) was a German actor and theater director.

Life

The pharmacist 's son visited 1919/20, the drama school of Max Reinhardt in Berlin in 1920 and made his debut at the Braunschweig State Theatre as postmaster in Tagore's play The Post Office. In 1925 he moved to the Hamburg Chamber of games where he was employed by artistic director Erich brick as a director.

From 1933 Stiebner worked as an actor and director at the Berlin stage, particularly at the State Theatre, the Schiller Theater and Schlossparktheater. After the war, he worked mainly on the comedy, cabaret at the comedian, the theater at Nollendorfplatz and at the grandstand.

Since 1934 he was a busy Supporting Actor at the German film. The full-figured actors embodied, among other waiters, cooks, law enforcement officers, crooks and very often innkeepers. Most recently, he was also seen in TV productions. For the Südwestfunk he worked as a radio drama. He was married to his first marriage to actress Maria Loja, in a second marriage with actress Veronika Letz.
