Hans van Steenwinckel the Youngest

Hans van Steenwinckel ( * before 1639 in Copenhagen, † 1700 ) was an architect and sculptor. He came from the Flemish family of artists Steenwinckel who worked in Denmark in the 16th and 17th centuries. He was, like his father, Hans II and his father, Hans I. Royal builder in Denmark.

Life

Hans van Steenwinckel married in 1664 and 1667 is shown as a sculptor. In 1669 he is mentioned as royal architect. He worked under the Royal General builder Lambert van Haven.
