Hapoel Jerusalem

Hapoel Jerusalem is an Israeli sports club from Jerusalem. It was founded in 1920 and primarily known for its basketball and football department.

They were four times the cup competition of the Israeli Basketball League ( 1996, 1997, 2007, 2008 ) and winning the 2004 European ULEB Cup final against Real Madrid.


The football section of Hapoel, Hapoel Jerusalem FC of ( Hebrew: מועדון כדורגל הפועל ירושלים ), was founded in 1930. His greatest achievement was winning the State Cup ( גביע המדינה, GVIA Hamedina ) in 1973. In the 2012/13 season, the club plays in the third-tier league Alef.
