Hapoel Jerusalem

Hapoel Jerusalem is an Israeli sports club from Jerusalem. It was founded in 1920 and primarily known for its basketball and football department.

Basketball

( Hebrew: הפועל ' מגדל ' ירושלים ) was founded in 1943 and is one of the most successful teams in the country. They were four times the cup competition of the Israeli Basketball League ( 1996, 1997, 2007, 2008 ) and winning the 2004 European ULEB Cup final against Real Madrid.

Football

The football section of Hapoel, Hapoel Jerusalem FC of ( Hebrew: מועדון כדורגל הפועל ירושלים ), was founded in 1930. His greatest achievement was winning the State Cup ( גביע המדינה, GVIA Hamedina ) in 1973. In the 2012/13 season, the club plays in the third-tier league Alef.
