Harald Braem

Harald Braem (pseudonym: Wolfram Stein, born July 23, 1944 in Berlin ) is a German designer, writer and cultural theorist.

Life

Harald Braem spent his childhood in Allendorf in the Westerwald. From 1949 he attended primary school and a secondary school in Hildesheim. Subsequently, he studied from 1962 graphic at the College for communication design in Hildesheim and advertising school in Hanover. He worked as a copywriter and creative director in advertising agencies. From 1981 to 2000 he was Professor of Communication and Design at the Fachhochschule Wiesbaden. His specialty is the psychology of color.

Harald Braem is a member of the Professional Association of German Psychologists. In 2005 he received the Medal of Merit of the State of Rhineland -Palatinate. In 2006 he founded the Institute of Color Psychology in Bettendorf. He has authored numerous books, including the standard work "The Power of Colors".

In addition to his teaching activities, Braem worked intensively with comparative cultural research, as well as with subjects such as archeology and early history of the Canary Islands, the Pyramid research, shamanism and rock art research. Since 1988, directs Braem the cult -great- Institute for Interdisciplinary Cultural Research at his residence, the Rhineland-Palatinate Bettendorf. He is curator of the World Heritage Museum Bettendorf and initiator of many cultural projects, such as Nassauer Culture Award, Nastätter Literature Days, Förderkreis Keltenhof Bettendorf, limes fortress Pohl, Art & Literature path Loreley ( KLP ).

Another field of activity Braems is to write literary texts. His narrative works are partly the fantasy genre, in part, attributable to the historical novel.
