Hardtberg

Hardt mountain is the smallest town in the district of Bonn. It was founded in 1969 as part of the municipal reorganization of the districts Duisdorf, Hardthöhe and Lengsdorf that belonged previously to the Official Duisdorf formed. The new estate Brüser mountain was added in 1974 as the fourth district, Medinghoven is as an unofficial and belonging to Duisdorf district in the west of the borough. The district Hardthöhe occupies almost the entire area of the Bundesverteidungsministerium, which is headquartered there. It is named after the eponymous mountain Hardt, 155.7 m above sea level. NN -lying mountain, which lies to the west of the borough.

In addition to the Ministry of Defence Hardt mountain is the site of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, the Federal Health Ministry, the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs. Hardt mountain has a partnership with the French town Villemomble since 1967.

CDU and FDP have signed a coalition agreement for the term 2009-2014. At the inaugural meeting of the district council Hardtberg 3 November 2009 District Mayor Petra Thorand (CDU ) was re-elected with the votes of the CDU, FDP and Pro NRW for a further term.

Traffic

To the east of the borough, the Federal highway 565 runs with junctions Bonn- Lengsdorf ( 8), and Bonn -Hardt Berg ( 9). Along the Hardt mountain passes of the Konrad -Adenauer- dam, a motorway-like road that is part of the Northwest circumvention of Bonn. The Federal Highway 56 runs west Hardt mountain, where there is also the route of the Voreifelbahn is with the breakpoint Bonn- Duisdorf.

Long-term planning is a tram line from Bonn main station to Hardthöhe ( Hardtbergbahn ) to replace the existing bus services to some extent.

In Duisdorf is the town hall Hardt mountain.

The municipality has 7 primary and secondary schools, 3 special schools, two middle schools, 2 high schools and a vocational college (Rhein- Sieg-Kreis ) and a branch of the Community College of the City of Bonn.

Sports

In the district Brüser hill lies Hardtberghalle, which was until 2008 the venue of the home matches of the Telekom Baskets Bonn. New home of the Telekom Baskets Bonn since summer 2008, the club's " Telekom Dome " below the Brüser mountain in the district Duisdorf.

The TKSV Duisdorf struggles since the 2010/2011 season back in the 1st Bundesliga.

The Hardtbergbad in the district Hardt mountain is the highest bathroom of Bonn and the only combined indoor and outdoor pools in the city.
