Hargreaves (crater)

Hargreaves is an impact crater on the lunar front side, southwest of Mare Spumans, southeast of the crater Webb and west of Maclaurin. The irregularly shaped crater covers the southern wall of the secondary crater Maclaurin H.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1979 after the British astronomer Frederick James Hargreaves.
