Harold Stirling Vanderbilt

Harold Stirling Vanderbilt (* July 6, 1884; † July 4, 1970 ) was an American multi-millionaire, whose fortune came from the estate of his grandfather Cornelius Vanderbilt.

1925 perfected Harold S. Vanderbilt on a cruise with friends on the " Finland", the bridge rules. While driving through the Panama Canal, he developed from Whist and auction bridge the Contract Bridge by, summarized various ideas such as the introduction of the threats and address system to a bidding and play system is easy to understand.
