Harry Fechner

Harry Fechner (born 4 May 1950) is a former German football player.

Career

Fechner came from the youth of the VfL ​​Bochum - the age of nine he had entered the club - and first moved then to the amateur squad, before his first 11 games for the first team in the then second-rate Regionalliga West played in the 1970/71 season. This was followed by successfully disputed promotion round - he replaced three times against VfL Osnabrück, FK Pirmasens and Tasmania 1900 Berlin - the promotion to the Bundesliga.
