History

In May 1945, the firm of Charles Barney and Hans Rudek was ( born August 17, 1910 in Keltsch, † February 12, 1999 in Berlin ) was founded as Baru; an acronym of the two surnames of the company founders. As early as August 1, 1945, established on the route from Rathaus Spandau to Staaken one of the first scheduled services in Berlin after the war. The price at that time was 30 cents. 1947 by Baru started its operation on the first long-distance bus from Berlin. This Interzone line led from Berlin to Hanover, and is served daily until today.
