Hasan DoÄŸan

Hasan Doğan ( born March 15, 1956 in Abana, Kastamonu, † July 5, 2008 in Bodrum, Muğla ) was the 37th president of the Turkish Football Federation.

Doğan completed his schooling in Istanbul and then studied mechanical engineering at the local Technical University of Yildiz, where in 1979 he graduated. He attended from 1979 to 1980 a language school in England. After his return, he worked at the company Beldesan ( until 1988 ) and then sat on the Board of Ramsey textile manufacturer, Gürmen, Kip - Teks Konfeksiyon and the Star Medya Yayıncılık A.Ş., which publishes, among other things, the Turkish newspaper Star. In addition, he was a member of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry and Commerce and sat in the Industry Committee of the Union of Turkish Chambers and Stock Exchanges. In addition, Doğan was a member of the NOC of Turkey, as well as a board member of the Turkish boxing federation. Even in a sports club Beşiktaş Istanbul, he became involved.

Dogan's election as president of the Turkish Football Federation on 15 February 2008 was considerably with 222 votes out of 237. On July 5, 2008 Doğan suffered after a dinner with the Turkish national coach Fatih Terim near Bodrum a fatal heart attack. Hasan Doğan left behind his wife and two children Aysel Doğan.
