The Hasely Crawford Stadium in Port of Spain is the largest stadium in the Caribbean island nation of Trinidad and Tobago. The stadium was built in 1980, has a capacity of 27,000 seats.

History

Originally, the stadium was called the National Stadium. In 2001, the stadium for the U- 17 World Cup was renovated and named after athlete Hasely Crawford. Crawford won at the Summer Olympic Games in Montreal in 1976 a gold medal in the 100 -meter run and was the first athlete from Trinidad and Tobago, who won an Olympic gold medal.
