Geography

Haugsdorf located in the northern wine district in Lower Austria at the border to the Czech Republic, where the shopping town Excalibur City is located. The places Auggenthal, Haugsdorf and Jetzelsdorf lie in the valley of Pulkau, Kleinhaugsdorf contrast, in the hills north of it.

The municipality is moved around from north to south of the Weinviertler road B 303, which forms the connection from Znojmo to Stockerau. The border crossing is in Kleinhaugsdorf.

History
