Hausneindorf is a district of the municipality Selke - Aue in the district of Harz, in Saxony- Anhalt. It is situated about twelve kilometers north-east of Quedlinburg.

On January 1, 2010, the formerly independent communities Hausneindorf and Wedderstedt merged to form the new municipality Selke - Aue. At the same time, the community was incorporated into Heteborn Selke - Aue.

History

Hausneindorf was founded in 570. The 1140 built by Henry the Lion huge castle to nine village (castle Hausneindorf ) is the coat of arms ( tower with masonry) of future emblem of the municipality, which also present as a cultural and historical monument shapes the character of the place.
