HÃ¥vard Bjerkeli

Håvard Bjerkeli (* August 5, 1977 in Molde ) is a retired Norwegian cross-country skier.

Bjerkeli won the silver medal in the sprint competition at the Nordic World Ski Championships 2003 in Val di Fiemme, Italy. At the Olympic Winter Games 2002, he was thirteenth in the sprint competition.

In his career Bjerkeli won three World Cup sprints for themselves. In 2004 he finished third overall in the sprint classification of cross-country skiing World Cup. In addition, he won at the start of the 2004/05 season along with Tor Arne Hetland the team sprint in Dusseldorf.

After the 2005/ 06 season Bjerkeli ended his active career.
