HÃ¥vard Flo

Håvard Flo ( born April 4, 1970 in Stryn ) is a former Norwegian football player.

Career

Flo began his professional career at Sogndal Fotball in the Tippeligaen, the highest Norwegian league. With the club he joined in 1993 in the Adecco Ligaen from, but in the following year once again. There was a change in the Danish Superliga, where Flo aground for three seasons for Aarhus GF before he was obliged in 1996 by Werder Bremen. Following a two-year commitment to the Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Football League Championship, it drew Flo 2001 finally back to Sogndal Fotball in the Tippeligaen, where he more than 150 games completed in the next seven years - from 2005 after a renewed descent but again in the second league. His last two games were the relegation games against second-bottom of the first division, Aalesunds FK, in November 2008. Sogndal lost 1:4 in the first leg and the second leg 1:3, where Flo scored the only away goal and was applauded by the opposing fans.

Internationally

Between 1996 and 2004, Flo went to even 26 times for the national team of his native country. Among other things, he completed four matches for the Football World Cup in 1998, scoring one goal.

As a coach / manager

He has since been active in the management of his last club Aalesunds FK. Flo also trained together with Sebastian Kaldestad the U-18 local country selection of the circle Sogn og Fjordane.

Private

He is the cousin of the footballer Jostein Flo, Tore André Flo and Jarle Flo, and the uncle of Per Egil Flo.
