Hawk of Quraish

The so-called hawk of Quraysh or Quraish Hawk is an emblem of several Arab states. The Arabs of the Arabian Peninsula, today especially those on the coast of the Persian Gulf are, traditionally considered excellent Falkner, the Falcons were in turn and are a status symbol and one of the favorite animals of the Arabs. Also from the clan of the Quraysh and the Prophet Mohammed a hawk has been handed down as a status symbol or tribal seal.
