Action
In the young and highly talented physics students Stephen Hawking the devastating nerve disease ALS is diagnosed. The doctors fear that he has only a few years before he can no longer control his body and is slowly dying. With the support of his parents, his friends and his girlfriend Jane Wild, he tries to realize his life's dream and solve an important astrophysical problem. Together with Roger Penrose eventually it manages to provide a general proof of the necessary existence of singularities in the largely developed by Albert Einstein general theory of relativity.
