Medvědi Beroun 1933 is an ice hockey club from Beroun, Czech Republic. He plays in the West series of the second division of the Czech Republic, the first league. Play their home games, the club from 1971 stadium in Zimni Beroun, which was roofed in 1985 and 2272 spectators seats.

History

Beroun in 1933 was founded the club Český Lev Beroun ( Czech Lion Beroun). In addition to the lions existed in Beroun another hockey club, Sokol Beroun. 1953 merged the two clubs on TJ Lokomotiva Beroun. The first team this association played up in the 1970s only at local and regional level. 1977 reached the summit in the second league of Czechoslovakia. Only in 1993 it rose to the first league where the club plays since then.

The biggest success in club history reached the team in the season 2003 / 04, as this is first completed the preliminary round first and only in the playoff finals on HC Dukla Jihlava failed.
