HC Milano

The Hockey Club Milano was an Italian ice hockey club from Milan. The club was founded in 1924 and was one of those who founded the Serie A 1924 Italian Supreme Hockey League. Over the years of its existence it has been renamed several times, first in Associazione Disco Ghiaccio Milano and later in Hockey Club Milano Inter. The club was disbanded in 1956.

History

Already in the year after the founding of HC Milano was the first Italian champion in ice hockey and remained so until 1934. Only in the years 1928 and 1929 no championship was held and in 1932 had to be the SG Cortina leave the championship. 1935, the club in Associazione Disco Ghiaccio Milano ( ADGM ) has been renamed. After the 1937/38 season was under pressure from the Italian Ice Federation ( FISG ) merging with the HC Diavoli Rossoneri Milano and it was the Associazione Milanese Disco Ghiaccio Milano - AMDG. Thus the goal of promoting the sport in Italy in preparation for the Winter Olympics of 1940 was followed. 1937, 1938 and 1941, in turn, the championship was won - 1939 and 1940 no masterpiece was determined.

After the Second World War again cleaved HC Milan was also in 1947, 1948 and 1950 champion and only had 1949 HC Diavoli Rossoneri Milano to defer. Even the second team Amateurs Milano the club was so successful that she won 2nd and 3rd places.

Was the HC Milan 1950 independent member of the football club Inter Milan By an agreement between the clubs and entered from then on as HC Milan Inter. By 1958, five more league titles have been won.
