HD 106252 b

HD 106252 b is an exoplanet, the yellow dwarf HD 106252 orbits every 1516 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was by Debra Fischer, Geoffrey Marcy, R. Paul Butler, Steven Vogt et al. discovered in 2002.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 2.6 astronomical units and has a mass of about 2257 Earth masses, or 7.1 Jupiter masses.
