HD 12661 c

HD 12661 c is an exoplanet, the yellow dwarf HD 12661 orbits every 1679 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was by Debra Fischer et al. discovered in 2002.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of approximately 2.86 astronomical units and has a mass of about 581.8 Earth masses and 1.83 Jupiter masses.
