HD 196050 b

HD 196 050 b is an exoplanet, the yellow dwarf HD 196 050 orbits every 1378 days. Due to its high mass is assumed that it is a gas planet.

Discovery

As the majority of exoplanets was also discovered that using the radial velocity method. The planet was from John Asher Johnson et al. discovered in 2002.

Circulation and mass

The planet orbits its star at a distance of about 2.54 astronomical units at an eccentricity of 0.23 and has a mass of about 921.9 Earth masses and 2.9 Jupiter masses.
