Heather Samuel

Heather Barbara Samuel ( born July 6, 1970) is a former Antiguan athlete and Olympian. Their main disciplines were 100 - and 200 -meter run.

Achievements

Samuel won their first medals at the Central American and Caribbean Games in 1990. In the 100-meter run, they reached silver, in the 200 - meter race bronze.

From 1991 to 1994 she studied at Murray State University in Kentucky and was a member of the track team. There she was admitted in 2004 for their athletic achievements in the Murray State Athletics Hall of Fame. She was elected in 1992 and 1993 on "Women's Track Athlete of the Year " of the Ohio Valley Conference.

In 1993, she first took part in the World Athletics Championships. In 1995, she won a gold medal at the Central American and Caribbean Championships. In the same year she again participated in the World Championships, as well as in 1997.

She gave her debut at the 1999 World Indoor Championships. In the same year she took part in the World Championships. Here they could just as in the Summer Olympic Games in 2000 and the World Indoor Championships in 2001 win a medal.
