The station Heemstede - Aerdenhout is a train station in the Dutch town of Heemstede and lies on the railway line from Amsterdam to Rotterdam. The station is located between the stations of CS Leiden and Haarlem. Heemstede - Aerdenhout is an intercity railway station. The station is primarily used by commuters.

History

1872, the station was opened as a stop, but closed again after eight years. The station was re-opened on October 1, 1891 under the name Zandvoortsche Laan and 1903 was closed again. When re- re-opening in 1928, he finally got the name Heemstede - Aerdenhout. In 1958, the station was replaced by today's Viaduct Station.

Train services
