The Holy Loher Beeke is an eastern, orographic right-hand tributary of the River Hunte. It belongs to the river system of the Weser.

Course

The approximately 13 -mile Holy Loher Beeke lies entirely in the field of city Twist rings ( Diepholz, Lower Saxony ). It flows from the direction Mörsen coming, one after the Twistringer districts Heiligenloh and Rüssen in east-west direction and flows west to the city and county border to the district of Vechta near the forge mill in the Hunte.

The NLWK writes: " The Holy Loher Beeke has the source of the trench mortar until the penultimate section before its confluence with the River Hunte a linear design. Above Heiligenloh three kilometers are equipped with a copse in a fraction forest. In the area of the last section before the Hunte the Holy Loher Beeke has a tortuous course. This final section, therefore, corresponds to the structure class 3 ( moderately modified). On the Messtischblatt of 1978 this section of water is still shown with meandering lines. Then at least two sections of the Holy Loher Beeke straightening were performed. In the lower reaches an Sohlabsturz of about 2.5 m is present at the forge mill. The structural quality of the approximately 13 -kilometer Holy Loher Beeke changes were made between the structural grades 6 ( strongly altered ) and 5 ( changed dramatically ). "
