Heinenoord

Heinenoord is a district of the municipality Binnenmaas on the Hoeksche Waard in the province of South Holland in the Netherlands. It is located between Goidschalxoord and the Blaaksedijk. Heineoord is an embankment village next to a narrow dike. Until the incorporation in 1984, the place was self-employed. On 1 January 2006, there were 3395 inhabitants.

Since 1969, the Hoeksche Waard with IJsselmonde is connected by the Heinenoord tunnel. In 1999, a second tunnel is originated there.
