Heinrich Klee

Heinrich Klee ( born April 20, 1800 Munstermaifeld; † July 28, 1840 in Munich) was a Catholic theologian.

Life

High school study in the episcopal seminary at Mainz 1809-17, then studied philosophy and theology at the seminary of Mainz 1817-21 ( ordination 1823). From 1819 to 1824 he worked as a teacher at Episcopal High School Mainz.

Klee in 1825 professor of theology and philosophy (doctor of theology ) at the Catholic Seminary to Würzburg, from 1825 to 1829 professor of exegesis and church history in Mainz seminary. Against the will of Georg Hermes ( Hermesianism ) in Bonn and the Cologne Archbishop Ferdinand August von Spiegel Clover in 1829 became professor of exegesis and Church History at the Catholic Faculty of the University of Bonn.

Heinrich Klee died on July 28, 1840 in Munich and found his final resting place.
