Heinrich XIX, Prince Reuss of Greiz

Heinrich XIX. Reuss, Count and Lord of Plauen, Lord of Greiz, Crane box, Gera, Schleiz and Lobenstein (* March 1, 1790 in Offenbach, † October 31, 1836 in Greiz ) was reigning prince Reuss Greiz.

Life

Heinrich XIX. was a son of Prince Heinrich XIII. Reuss to Greiz and his wife Princess Louise of Nassau- Weilburg ( 1765-1837 ). He succeeded his father as Prince Reuss Greiz 1817.

1819 was Heinrich against the Lower Castle by master builder Wilhelm Pohl called the " Old Guard " build in which until 1918 the palace guard was housed.

Prince Heinrich married on January 7, 1822 in Prague princess Gasparine ( 1798-1871 ), daughter of Prince Charles de Rohan -Rochefort.
