Helene Migerka

Helene Migerka (born 13 September 1867 in Brno, † March 26, 1928 by suicide in Graz) was an Austrian writer and a member of the women's movement.

Life

Helene Migerka, daughter of the Commercial expert Franz Migerka and the social worker and writer Catherine Migerka, lived from 1915 with his mother and sister in Graz. It fell into disuse after the death of his mother in sadness and committed suicide.

Work and influence

Helene Migerka sat in the Viennese women's movement for equal rights for women. She was many years on the board of the Association of writers and artists in Vienna and was involved in the development of the " Wit " the federal officials widows and orphans in Graz and at the "Action feast of faith " involved in honor of old maids. She wrote satirical seals and feature articles for the future, universe, Berlin Latest News, Women's Lives, Dioscuri, The general art history and other.
