Helga Schauerte-Maubouet

Helga Schauerte - Maubouet ( born March 8, 1957 in Lennestadt ) is a German organist, editor and music writer.

Biography

Helga Schauerte organist began her career with an appearance as a ten year old. Three years later, she took a position as organist in Lenne city. She studied at the Musikhochschule Köln music education, pedagogy and philosophy. In 1985, she completed her degree in Artistic Viktor Lukas. She completed her training with Marie -Claire Alain ( Premier Prix). She is organist of the German church in Paris. Jean Langlais a dedicated her compositions and commissioned them with several world premieres. In 1987 she was awarded the Culture Prize of the city of Olpe. She is a member of the new MGG and co-author of the Handbook of organ music. She has published articles in the journals Ars Organi, organ, L' Orgue, Organists ' Review, The American Organist, music and worship, Arte e organaria organistica and ostinato rigore. At the Paris Conservatoire Nadia et Lili Boulanger she is a lecturer.
